Hi, I’m Kimberly Jenkinson, and I’m a Personal Trainer At Peak Physique. I’ve been a personal trainer at Peak Physique for over 4 years and received my certification from the National Personal Training Institute. I also have a suspension certification and a kettlebell certification.
Favorite Personal Training Moments
My favorite personal training moment is anytime I’m able to help clients realize their potential. When I can see moments of pride visible on their faces as they make strides, there’s no comparison.
I also love when clients see the progress they made that they didn’t think was possible when they first started working out. It’s rewarding to watch them realize the initial leap of faith was rewarded with newfound ability and hope.
Why I Like Training
I like being a personal trainer because I’m able to pay homage to something that has helped me in so many ways. I’m privileged to spread the joy.
Why I’m A Trainer
I went through my own weight loss journey, and after losing a lot of weight and learning more and more about healthy exercise, I received advice that I should become a personal trainer and I did!
I’m grateful because fitness has helped me immeasurably with health, physical, mental, psycho-social and so much more, and I love being able to help others with that.
My Advice To People Who Want To Workout
Be brave and ask yourself what you truly want. Dare to dream of a healthier future, even if it feels super difficult or impossible. Visit a trainer with your goals in mind and see what fits or feels right to you.
Get To Know Your Trainer
I’ve been married for 22 years, and have 4 children. I have a 20-year-old who is in college, a 19-year-old who is in trade school, a 13-year-old who is about to start high school, and an 11-year-old who is in middle school. We happily stay busy with college soccer, travel soccer, wrestling, band and more. We also have 2 beloved dogs and a gecko.
I enjoy working in my garden, beading, especially love spending time visiting the great lakes. I love the water! I also like to mountain bike, cook, and anything that involves being outdoors!
