About Us

Meet Peak Physique

At Peak Physique, we believe fitness has the power to change lives, not because it's about looking a certain way, but because it's about becoming stronger, healthier, and more confident in every part of life.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Nick and Lissa, Peak Physique was built on one simple idea: personal training should actually be personal.

Life is busy. Between work, family, and everyday responsibilities, taking care of yourself often falls to the bottom of the list. At Peak Physique, we want to be different from the traditional gym experience. We strive to be a place where expert coaching, genuine relationships, and individualized support help people create lasting change.

Whether you're taking your first step into fitness or working toward your next goal, we're here to help you move better, feel stronger, and discover what you're truly capable of.

Empowered, not exhausted. That's what fitness should feel like.

Meet Nick & Lissa

Peak Physique isn't a franchise or a big-box gym. We’re a family-owned business built by two people who genuinely care about helping others succeed.

As a married couple, Nick and Lissa understand the balancing act of careers, parenting, health, and everyday life. That perspective shapes everything they do, from the way workouts are designed to the supportive environment they've created.

Together, they've built a training community where people are known by name, encouraged through challenges, and celebrated for every victory along the way.

Their goal has never been to create the biggest gym; it's to create the place people actually want to come back to.

Nick's Passion: Helping People Realize They Can Change

Ask Nick what his favorite part of coaching is, and his answer is simple: Helping someone realize they can change.

That moment when a client lifts more than they thought possible, finishes their first workout without fear, gains confidence after years of struggling, or simply feels healthier than they have in years. That's why Peak Physique exists.

Nick doesn’t simply stop at educating and training his clients, either. He’s passionate about training the next generation of personal trainers and teaching them the skills he’s mastered through his decades of experience.

Lissa's Leadership Inside and Outside the Gym

Lissa's passion for helping others extends far beyond the walls of Peak Physique.

She has been appointed to the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy, where she helps support and strengthen the physical therapy profession throughout the state.

Her commitment to serving others has also earned her the prestigious Woman in Action Award, which recognizes women who make a meaningful impact through leadership, service, and community involvement. The award reflects Lissa's dedication to empowering others, advocating for healthier communities, and leading with compassion in everything she does.

Whether she's coaching clients, mentoring others, serving the healthcare community, or volunteering locally, Lissa brings the same heart, integrity, and commitment that Peak Physique is known for.

When she isn’t in the gym or with her family you can find Lissa speaking at mental health and domestic violence panels, talking about corporate social responsibility, or attending community events in Troy and all around Eastern Michigan.

A Gym That Gives Back
